I have always figured my protein x my current BW even though I have at least 10 lbs of fat to lose.
Just a thought , should it be x mt LBM ?

How would you accurately distinguish between the two?

I'm also wondering this. I've always done x my bodyweight.
Just go with TBW in your case.

So what about someone who has a lot of fat to lose.

Do you have an approximate of your LBM? Any bodyfat tests? You could use LBM as your multiplier.

No idea as to my my LBM.No body fat tests.Perhaps it would be a good idea to get that done? Lately I have been just trying to keep my protein intake around 140-150g.
