Yes! I figured americans would already have tried it :p I found it at walmart but it wasn't w/ the crystal lite and other powdered drinks.

It was the same price as crystal lite.

Haven't tried it, but I will. Thanks for posting. While I'm not a fan of any chemical sweeteners, I feel that Splenda is the less of two evils. I'll check out WalMart later on.

Leah, do you dilute your crystal light or just drink it as is. I ask because there is like 15 calories per 250 ml - i stopped drinking it because I drank the whole thing all the time

a box of crystal lite in my area is around $2.89 (says it will make 3L, but I usually get 5L out of it.... I dilute the crystal lite, however I will add a Packet of sugar twin to my glass to sweeten it up a bit more)
If you are really budget minded, and don't take offense to artificifial colourings and dyes, Kool Aid can be a good alternative! NOT the PRE-mixed junk...it already has cups and cups of sugar mixed in!!
I'm talking about the tiny little packages, if you look on the back it is acutally flavouring only, all the nutritional info is ZEROS all the way down...0 cals, 0 carbs...etc... then I just add Splenda or Sugar twin and only $0.33 each package!!! says it will make 2Litres, but you can get wayy more out of it, at least 3 Litres.
*if you don't add any sugar twin, it is incredibly sour tasting because there is no sweetener added to it at all.

I used to have a great recipe using this stuff in it's sour form to create home made "gummy worms"
you just use the Kool Aid Flavouring, (this will make the gummies sour)
No sugar,
and Knox Gelatin, (one of the small packages)
and One package of Sugar free Jello too. (this will add flavour and offset the SOUR)
Pour the mixture onto 2 large dinner plates, and put in the fridge for about 20 minutes. It completely Gels up just like gummie bears or "worms". I use a pizza cutter to slice up the Gummy Gel into very thin strips and my kids love them! I like it because even though it is "junk" food, at least I can see what has gone into them myself...that stuff you buy in the stores, (or worse yet...the Dollar store) has sooo many weird ingredients that I cannot even pronounce  it's like sometimes I wonder if it is even supposed to be for human consumption.

EDIT: Here is the actual recipe...
Gummi Worms
2 packages sugar-free Jell-O
2 packages plain gelatine
1 cup boiling water

If sour gummies are desired, add one packet of unsweetened Kool-aid in a flavor that goes well with your Jell-O flavor. The Kool-aid really makes them sour (but good).

Stir all ingredients until dissolved. Pour the mixture onto a large dinner plate(s) and refrigerate. It will set in about 20 minutes.

You can either slice it into worms, or roll up the rubbery disk of gelatin and cut it every 1/4 inch with a large pair of scissors. You can also use tiny cutters to make little shapes.

Total Recipe: 50 Cal (0% from Fat, 100% from Protein, 0% from Carb); 12 g Protein; 0 g Tot Fat; 0 g Carb; 0 g Fiber; 5 mg Calcium; 0 mg Iron; 7 mg Sodium; 0 mg Cholesterol

The Green tea with Mango was really really good but, it only came in singles and Wal Mart doesn't carry it. I haven't seen the tubs, whatsoever. I'll have to go to the expensive grocery store again to take a closer look at their inventory.

Lynda,

I printed out your recipe. I think my son and I will enjoy these. Especially if I let him cut out his own shapes...maybe even use cookie cutters. Hmmmm. The possibilities!

Nestea, as in iced tea? Do they have green tea iced tea? I miss that stuff. I am not a big juice drinker, prefer water, but once in a while it would be nice for a change.

I LOVE brewed iced tea  , maybe I should make some for myself tonight....

Cool! he should really enjoy them, and the "scraps" left over from the cookie cutters are yummy too!
If he doesn't like "sour" gummies don't go with the no sugar added kool aid, just use the jello instead, they can really come out SUPER SOUR!
I hope you two have fun spending some time together in the kitchen!

I found it!
And bought some. It was $2.17 (Canadian) at Walmart. I found it in various spots - with the Crystal Light but also on the side of a shelf in a different area.
I haven't tried it yet but will make some later. :)

Well, this is crazy. I found it at Walmart, too. It was in the tea section. I think I paid $1.67 (US) for boxes of singles Green Tea in Mango/Mandarin and Green Tea with Lemon. They also had the bigger sizes in Iced Tea with Raspberry and with Peach.

The berry is good. I think I like it better than crystal lite. The only flavour of that I can drink is raspberry ice tea anyway, lol

You must've bought all the berry cause there was a big empty space where it should have been.

I just had a bottle of the Citrus Green Tea. I'm not sure if it's made my nestea or not? Is this the stuff you're talking about? I didn't know you could buy it in a powder.

I have been looking for this stuff for a couple weeks! I even have a coupon  I did have the bottled Splenda Nestea Green Citrus Tea. Damn Alberta. We get everything last.

But we do have the Clamidiya capital of Canada, so I guess we don't all get EVERYTHING last.

BTW, I know that is spelled wrong, but I don't know how to spell it.
