:uhuh: So I am carb cycling, starting week 4.

I am seeing gradual changes which is really neat. the first week was most obvious. However, I would like to see more :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: changes (greater fat loss, especially in the lower body) and am wondering what I can do to speed things up.

I know I can always clean up my food which is what I am going to focus on this week.

I am doing 3 full workouts ( really seeing strength gains) plus 2 SS (30 min run outisde) plus 1 HIIT outside. To see more definition in my legs, can I change my cardio around ( let's say add more minutes to SS or even opt for 2 HIIT's and only one SS?)

Bottom line, how do i speed up my lean out process? (sorry for repeating myself! :suicide: )

you already answered your question. clean up your diet and be sure you are eating in a deficit. And remember, it takes time. Don't expect it to happen over night. Be consistent and you'll get there. :)

you already answered your question.:)

duh...... I am blond for a reason! :shhh:

i know everyone around here says diet is #1. However, should I just leave cardio as is?

Cleaning up your diet is the most important part, and make sure you are tracking your cals and macros.
As for cardio, I would probably opt for 2 HIIT and 1 SS, just don't add any more cardio to your program.

ditto what they all said - look at your diet first.

Typically a woman's lower body will not progress at the rate of her upper body no matter what. Often, the upper body has to make significant progress before the lower body fat gets tapped into. That's just the way physiology in women generally works.

Stay the course. In time it will come.

I have heard that before but was hoping no one would say it! The abs are cutting already but the legs........... .....I think they call it patience!

Thanks for the reminder.

yes, patience. legs are last, even before abs.

What about arms? My chest, waist and hips all lose quicker than my arms! I've lost an inch off my waist, 2 1/2 off my hips and nothing on my upper arms.

Any other women like that? Of course, my lower body by far as the most to lose.

I hope you're not the only one, I'd be sad if my arms shrank first on a diet!
