Does anyone use these? If so, can you recommend a good one? I have been using Oscar Blandi and want to switch. It doesn't detangle as well as I'd like.

You may not believe me, but Suave. My daughter's hair gets straight up nappy. I spray a bit of that in and it's soft and manageable (sp?).

I like Paul Mitchell's "The Detangler"..works well, keeps my hair from getting frizzy while I'm styling it (styling for me=changing my part ;)).. :)

I can't put detangler or leave in conditioner in my hair. It makes it frizzy no matter how little/a lot I put in. My hair hates leave in conditioner for whatever reason

Biosilk Silk Therapy.

A little bit goes a long way.

It has an oily feel to it, but it doesn't make your hair limp as long as you don't overdo it.

bdd814: I would totally try Suave. It's cheap so if I don't like it, no biggie. If it works on ethnic hair, I'm sure it can detangle my fine hair.

smuggie: Do you know if Biosilk anything like John Freida Frizz-Ease serum? I use that and it helps a lot with the frizzies. If Biosilk detangles and tames frizz, then I could just use one product. :p

My salon uses mostly Aveda products. I know they use quality, natural ingredients and I like the brands ethics. However, I think their stuff smells like dirt. At least the shampoo/cond. my girl uses on me when I go. How does the Elixir smell?

Infusium 23...........you can buy it at the grocery store. A lady put it in my hair years ago after she gave me a perm and I have been using it ever since. She was able to comb right through the tight curls!!

I second this suggestion, I use this and my hair is insanely knotty and thick and it works

I used this one leave-in conditioner called FastFood (don't ask, I don't know why they called that).

I started using it after a hairdresser pointed out my cruspy/fried ends, I've been using it for months and it works wonders. It was soemthing like 13 or 16$ (CAD) for the bottle but you only put a pea-sized drop in and use it on the ends (if you want to detangle, maybe a little more to do the whole head).

Either way, I love it.

I love the Biosilk Silk Therapy. Actually, I'm starting to use the entire line and really like it.
