I need a change. A change in my makeup. I feel like it's caked on and with the summer coming I always get sweaty and feel like my makeup is running off my face. I'm outside alot. Tell me about this makeup! Do you love it? I'm seriously considering trying it! Does it give good coverage?

While I haven't used it myself, one of my good friends has. She loves it. She has mild/moderate acne and when she wears BE--you can't tell. It's fairly middle of the road in terms of price. Good luck. Let us know if you like it. :)

I like it quite a bit. It's quick to put on. Most people LOVE it.
LaPrairie Cavier is my Holy Grail foundation, but the Bare Escentuals is pretty great, too.

I use it and LOVE it. I hate liquid foundation. Most of the women in my family use it and we all love it.
It seems expensive, but a little goes a long way so it lasts a very long time.

Been using it for 4 years now and absolutely love it. I have never gotten more compliments on my "glowing skin" (yeah right) before. Actually just ordered the starter kit for my mom to start using it since she always steals mine  (but I'll steal the kabukis from hers  )

GREAT! Well, you all convinced me to try it! YEA, I'm going to order it online so I'll let you know how it goes! Thanks ;)
I order mine from Ebay. It's a lot cheaper than the Bare Escentuals website. You could go on the website and find your colors then check Ebay. Sephora.com also carries the entire line.

Which products are really essential ... do you really use the whole starter kit, or is just the foundation enough? And what's with the Mineral Veil? I've also been looking at ebay... but concerned about which colors I need.

I mainly just use the foundation powder and the mineral veil. The mineral veil is similar to a translucent powder that gives you a finished look. Very rarely do I use the glow. I really didn't think it gave me much glow, but my skin is darker so I might do more on lighter skin. I got the starter kit from the website to begin with and then just replaced what I used from Ebay. I do like their eyeshadows and blusher. It stays put all day and I have really oily skin and the colors are nice.

Just curious, if you wish to buy those BE products, how to choose the right color for your skin???
I used Glo Mineral in the past, ABSOLUTY loved it. Very expensive too, however the color never fited my skin. I always would looked one shade lighter or way to bronzed.
I don't want to fall again into this trap, so any advice??

I love it, too. I tried it because I was looking for a product like Mineral Veil; everything else seems to make me break out on my forehead.
I really recommend using both the BE foundation and the Mineral Veil (I like "Warmth," too--it's kind of a bronzer). Using the products together, and putting them on properly, is key.

I recently started using BE and I absolutely love it! It doesn't feel at all heavy and looks so much better than liquid foundation.
I wasn't aware that I could get it on Ebay, though. I'll have to check it out.

I use something similar, but up a step or two in quality and price (from what I was told) called Jane Iredale. Some salons sell it, but you can get it from ebay. They have a wider variety of products. Just another option for you.
I adore this type of makeup. I went with the Jane Iredale products because my salon sells them, so I didn't have that question of what color to get.

I just purchased the starter kit and have been using it for a week. I love the stuff, easy with a nice even look

where did you get your kit? I am thinking of trying this as well, but not sure where to buy it. I know you can order off the net but i like to try before I buy.

I really love this stuff and wear it daily. I also don't have to worry about washing my makeup off before I go to the gym because it doesn't clog my pores. Be forwarned that if you apply with a heavy hand in the summer months and have oily skin the Barescetuals foundation can get a pastelike consistency by midday.

This stuff really is amazing. I didn't think a powder could do as much as liquid foundation, but redness and discoloration really does just dissappear.

Just a little FYI-Make sure you wash your brushes, I broke out like crazy and thought it was the make-up (which I love) and found out that it was the brushes. They have brush cleaner at Sallys, make sure you use it :) OR I used clarifying shampoo and it worked as well :p
