Do you still attempt to drain the fat off of this meat. While this may sound sick, I used to love it - my mom would actually rinse the fat off of the beef if she was making it into tacos or something - couldn't tell the difference.

Also, do you think my calories/macros would be out of wack to much if I mixed the beef with lean ground turkey?

As long as it fits into your macros/plan there shouldnt be a problem. Extra lean gr beef is pretty lean. Here it's like 4% fat. We also have 7% and higher.
The old days people had such fat phobias. Some saturated fat is good for you.

Not sure i'd like to combine turkey with beef, but try it.

ground turkey is 98%-99% FF. a little drier but good stuff. there's nothing to drain.

To me, it doesn't seem like there's any fat to drain off the extra lean beef.

I always have to drain extra lean ground beef. =S Could be the brand, but it's very gross to me.

Ground chicken is good to but I rinse all of it after I cook it.
