account question...

had a couple of questions... when i go to look at a users profile or look at the memebers list i get the below message:

" you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. "

is there a particular reason why i am getting this? Ive looked through my options settings and can't seem to figure out problem... :unsure:

Also when i got to change/upload my avatar it will not allow me to de-select the "Do not use an avatar".

any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Try getting your post count up for the priveledges. That may be the problem. Have you gone into your options and enabled avatars?

for the avatar, in the edit avatar screen it won't let me deselect the avatar option...

Have you enabled avatars in your "options" under "user cp?"

ok, maybe im just slow :laugh:

under user CP under setting and options if i select 'edit avatar' the next screen the only thing that show up is a dialog box - and only one option, "Do not use an avatar" which is currently selected and won't allow me to de-select. if i go under 'edit options' i don't see a place to turn on avatar, only thing i see is under 'Visible Post Elements' and i can select for "show avatars" which i do have selected...

??????????

It could just be that you need to get your post count up. That's the only thing I can think of. Once your post get to 10 you should be able to, soon after that. :)
