I was out at Walmart today and was going to pick up a sports watch with a timer so that I can attempt doing HIIT with jumprope. Someone said they had one that you could program for intervals but with the ones I was looking at today, it was hard to determine if they did that. There were so many different kinds and brands that I came home with nothing. :(

What should I look for in a sports watch and is there something I can get for about $20 - $30?

Timex or Nike.

Did you want to buy in-store or online?

It doesn't matter really. I'm all for buying online. I'm lazy like that. Show me an example. :)

Can you go up by $20?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=nb_ss_...erval+countdown (http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=nb_ss_gw/104-1641136-7498348?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=timex+interval+countdown)

Wait, does it need to be women's size?

I doubt you can get one from Nike for that price range. I have a really good one from Nike that I use for HIIT, but I think it is about $80, not sure, hubby bought it for me. The good thing about it is that you can add up to 5 intervals. If I am doing a 20 sec sprint I can also add a 40 sec right after and I don't have to reset it.

Have you tried the Nike Factory stores?

The Nike Factory store is a good idea. Maybe I will wait until the next time I am in the US.

I guess if it's a good watch and will last me forever then I wouldn't mind paying more.

Those are cool.
Maybe I will also check ebay. I don't think it matters if it's women's. I like bigger watches anyways.

Thanks Forged!!
