(RANT ON):angry: Well i went to work legs today all excited and stuff because i decided today i was going to go heavy. I started by working up from 135 at 20lb increments. Well i was at 245 still warming up and going at a good pace when on my last rep my right quad let go.:suicide: I thought the muscle was tearing jen said it was just spasming, i said it hurt like hell and i couldn't walk or put weight on it. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr So i had to finish by doing hams and calves

To top it off yesterday i was doing chest and my left shoulder had something feel like it popped but it didn't really hurt. So i had to go light yesterday. Hope nothing else decides to let go (knock on wood)

I guess i'm just going too heavy too soon :( which is frustrating because the muscle strength is soooo there but it feels like my tendons are really sore and are not up to the task, so i guess im going to take it easy for a while. Which pisses me off because i only have two speeds.... Full speed, and off :cool:

I even took pictures this morning hoping to start a journal, but oh well, guess i gotta wait till im not a gimp :mecry:

i feel ya will....i hurt my left front delt a while ago and was going crazy when i had to lay off upper body work for a month...:sad:

Something similar happened to my quad earlier in the year. After a week worth of ART treatments, I was good to go. It was actually discovered that I was favouring one leg during squatting? Do you think this is the case with you?

I used to actually, but i was watching my form and i don't cheat to one side anymore, however if i were to cheat over it would be to my left side, and it was my right quad that got hurt, so i don't have a clue at all. It wasn't like it was sore then it got worse or a gradual build up of pain, it just happened all at once. Its still sore today hopefully it'll get progressively better, i think im gonna wrap it next week and go light, then play it by ear after that.

hehe.. I say this to my SO when he gets injured... and he is always in the wars... this just frustrates him. patience is one thing he has little of.

I was thinking the exact same thing!

I know it's frustrating Iron Will....injuries suck.....but rest will do you good. You don't want to further the problem!
