Has anyone here had one?
I have read alot about implants, but not about a lift with implants. I know I need BOTH ! I am curious about the recovery and training after.
Thanks

I just had mine done on aug 3, of this yr with a tummy tuck. I SO needed it. 5kidlets reaked havoc on this poor body.
Im currently 3.5 wks post of. The hardest part for me is the NO exercise rule. No wts for atleast 6wks. I am now able to do cardio.
Im bitchin an moaning about my lack of training, but thrilled with my results thus far.
Hey, I'm new :) Curious to see the responses, too. Gonna get these gals upgraded one of these days, but missing the training would be hard to do!

had both done about 2 years ago...my plastic surgeon suggested that in order for me to not need a lift, i would have to go much bigger than what i wanted...mind you i'm only 5'2, 110lbs, so i decided to do the life first, and had implants done about a month later...glad i didnt go bigger. i'm happy with my results, nobody ever knows i have them unless i tell them.

i had a lift with implants done 3 years ago. my issue wasnt from BF it was because i had a tuberous deformity and the only way to correct it was to get a lift and implant....i would do it again tomorrow. yes...it is painful....but only bad for 2-3 days....you are immoible for those 3 days and cannot lift(and i mean anything, not weights) for at least 2 weeks.....i have had 2 c-sections and the BA did not even rank in the pain dept. compared to the section.
it is one of the greatest things i have ever done for myself!!! pm me if you have any more questions!!! :lol3:
I know that costs vary from region to region, but about how much could one expect to pay for the procedure?

Why have ya'll had the lift and implant done in a separate procedure? Is that what is always done?

in my case i did it because a lift actually makes you a smaller size and then you can reconsider how many cc's you want.
for example i always wore like a 32b prior to lift and after lift, i was actually an A.
i guess the "extra" was just skin.

For those of you who've had it done, did you lose sensation in your nipples? That's one of the reasons I've put it off.

My lift and implants were done in the same procedure. Im exactly the same size i was going into surgery. What the dr took out in "cc's" she put back with implant. I actually wish i were smaller now though. Im a C and i'd like to be a B now that all is said and done. I didnt say that at the time of surgery or the dr would have taken out more.
As for the sensation. One has too much sensation right now lol.. and the other was always very low sensation to begin with. Prolly too early to know if it will change as im only 4 wk post op.

How about the scars, is there any?

LOTS of sensation.....
mine were done in same procedure
scars are minimal....lift was peri-aerolar....and unless you are on top of them, you cannot see the scar.....implant was put in through the crease....scar so lite and minimal....you can hardly see it!!!

I had excessive stretch skin as well as severely sagging br. Mine wasnt done quite as scarless as Romel's. I have the scarring around the areola, down from the nipple and then under the breast. My prodcedure was more like a redduction but in order to maintain the same size, we "replaced" with the implant. Already the scars have faded so much, im really surprised. Im sure they will always show some, but based on how they looked prior, to now, I'll live with the scarring (which will def lighten up over the yrs.) and lets face it, i have no intensions of being a porn star
You might want to google breast lifts and see the results on different sites. Everyone heals and scars differently. I looked at tons of online sites/pictures too.
A friend of mine does photography. One of his clients had the procedure done, similar to mine. The scarring was SO FAINT. that if he hadnt pointed it out, i'd never have known. :)
Its a hard decision to make and no one should convince you or scare you into or out of it. It's very personal. YOU are the one that has to live with the results.
