Liberty's thread in training got me wondering... I am still just TTC, but I am a little worried bc I feel like I already have loose joints! My doctor once brought in his partners to show them how flexible I was when he was doing flexibility tests. They were all amazed how far he could bend my fingers up with my palm flat on a table. I also can bend my thumb down to touch my wrist, which like 5% of the population can do. I have sprained my ankles so many times and so severely growing up that they don't even sprain anymore- it's gross, they just turn really easily and ache for a little while. I also dislocated my elbows multiple times when I was a kid- my mom practically had social services called on her. Also, my kneecaps are misaligned naturally and I subluxate them every so often. Subluxate means they pop out and pop back in right away, as opposed to dislocate, where they stay out- but it hurts almost as much.

I can literally subluxate them just by standing with my weight on one and shifting suddenly!

Anyhoo, I do have a point... am I just going to be screwed (haha pun intended) when I get pregnant and my joints all loosen MORE???
