after 2 weeks of eating in btween 2000 and 2100 calores everyday, controlled cheat days, drinking a gallon of water a day, my measurements have gone up!
I have lost 5lbs by scale weight and my caliper measurements have gone down in all areas ...... what gives? i have always done my own caliper measurements and tracked them and I always do the same spots, it says 29.58 % bf, I have never gotten below 30 % since I started. I know this probably isnt the most accurate but the measurements themselves are going down, so why not tape measurements?? any ideas?

wait for longer than two weeks
but otherwise who cares, weights down, calipers are down.

Water retention?

I wondered about that, I am drinking so much water tho.... isn't that supposed to help water retention? and I just had my period so its not that.....
Isn't it more likely that measurement errors come from the calipers, than a measuring tape?

well I don't think so, because I make a really concious effort to measure the same spots, for instance I always measure the widest part of my thighs, and just above my belly button where my natural waistline falls and I always make sure its even all the wat around.... I'll try again Friday morning.

You'd be surprised.

You know how hard it is to measure the same spot on your leg every 2 weeks? Or arm? or to make sure it's not going some funky angle where you can't see? Takes me forever to get as accurate a measurement I can.

I try to use moles or freckles as markers, but sometimes there aren't any in the near vicinity. :bitch:
