I was prescribed PrimaCare One as my prenatal vitamin - its one that has EFA's from fish oils in them. (Not pregnant yet, but we will start trying in a few months). Here are some questions - what kind do you ladies use? And I noticed that this vitamin doesnt have everything my multi has. Should I take both? I take the prenatal at night bc it upsets my stomach. Should I take my regular multi in the morning???

Thanks!

I usually took my prenatal for about 3 days, then I would take one day of regular multi. But, when you take the regular multi, make sure you take an extra folic acid supplement to make sure you're getting all you need. I would not take both the prenatal and the regular in one day. Some vitamins can be toxic in too high of a dose.

Regular vitamins are too high in Vitamin A which cause birth defects. Just eat well and take the prenatal. I took the store brand at night before bed.

I have a multivitamin that is lower in Vit A, and I supplement folic acid and on days that are needed, calcium/mag, Vit E, Vit D, selenium, Iron, and Vit C.
