Couple questions about this. I know you are supposed to take your PWO meal as soon as possible . But what would be the longest time you could wait ? 30 minutes ?
Also would it depend on when you had your pre-workout meal? For example: I have my pre workout shake about 20 minutes prior training, training last about an hour, sometimes less than that . Do I technically have more time to consume my Post- workout meal? It just seems that I am consuming two meals 1 – 1.5 hour apart if I do it right away.

I hope I don’t sound too confusing

i think thats how its supposed to be. i have breakfast at 5am, at the gym by 5:30, home by 6:30 and i'm eating pwo by 645/7. it sucks on training days!!!!

2 hours is certainly better than 1.5 or even worse 1 hour apart....

I eat my post work out meal at the gym as soon as I finsh training. so that's 1.5 hrs after my pre work out meal.

I hate this fact too because I'm not that hungry until mid-day but I've already used up two meals

The quicker you eat your p/w meal the more beneficial it is I believe, that's why I bring mine to the gym, but other's probably have a better explanation for this.

The quicker you eat it, the quicker it can go to work. You want to start building the muscle.

That's right. I think the quicker you eat the quicker your glycogen stores get replaced in your muscles so they can grow.

It's better to eat your PWO meal as soon as possible after training, because that's your body's "prime time" for absorbing the nutrients and to start repairing the muscle(or so I've read). Correct me if I'm wrong..

I know for myself: I eat 35 to 40 minutes before my workout and right after my workout.. It important to get that post workout meal in you as fast as you can... If you have to pack the meal then do it - take it with you and eat it before you shower or move on with your day...

Good for you. Like I said I eat mine in the change room at the gym, all the while thinking of my muscles growing and loving me:lol3: Plus I love my flippin rice cakes ( they are like my cheat) so I'm not waiting any longer than I have to, to scarf them down:thumb:

I make pudding out of my pp. just a little water and keep the consistency thick. plus it's quiet time for me. I get to relax for a few minutes and enjoy my meal in peace without my daughter around:lol3:

It's actually not that small and it's filling because it's thick. Something to consider for a change of pace

That's exactly how I make mine. As a pudding.

Casein protein makes a better consistency pudding, though.
