I think I have an obsession with these things: . . .
but that's not the point
I've been changing up my training split, and I'm trying to find a more effective way to do my HIIT and cardio w/o potentially overtraining my legs. I have a tendency to overtrain, so I want to be very deliberate and careful with this.
Monday: upper body heavy
Tuesday: lower body heavy
Wednesday: am - SS cardio, pm - HIIT
Thursday: upper body light
Friday: am - SS cardio, pm - HIIT
Saturday: lower body light
Sunday: off
should I put the HIIT back on my upper body days in the morning (like I did this past week)? is this too much "cardio" on my non-lifting days? fitness suggested in my journal about maybe putting SS cardio on upper body mornings. would that work better?
I wasn't going to do carb cycling with this.
thoughts?
