I think I have an obsession with these things: . . .

but that's not the point

I've been changing up my training split, and I'm trying to find a more effective way to do my HIIT and cardio w/o potentially overtraining my legs. I have a tendency to overtrain, so I want to be very deliberate and careful with this.

Monday: upper body heavy
Tuesday: lower body heavy
Wednesday: am - SS cardio, pm - HIIT
Thursday: upper body light
Friday: am - SS cardio, pm - HIIT
Saturday: lower body light
Sunday: off

should I put the HIIT back on my upper body days in the morning (like I did this past week)? is this too much "cardio" on my non-lifting days? fitness suggested in my journal about maybe putting SS cardio on upper body mornings. would that work better?

I wasn't going to do carb cycling with this.

thoughts?

I actually MIGHT consider doing it on legs days but in a separate (second) session, so that your legs get more complete rest days. So basically you're hammering them hard twice in one day, but they're getting 5 days off.

like this? does it really matter if HIIT is in morning or evening of leg day?

I like that idea. it did worry me about hitting the legs so often.

I'd probably train legs first if you could.

ok, I think I can pull that off this week with my weird finals schedule.

would 6 hrs be enough time btwn sessions? I have a feeling it might be too short, but that's just winging it.

you guys are so
