I read the carb cycling article and i just want to make sure i'm doing everything correctly.

My caloric intake each day will be 1560 cal. (the goal is fat loss)
130x12=1560
Protein (med days) 130x1.25 =162.5
(high days) 130 x1.5=190

Carbs
Low: what would define "low" or is it just to be assumed that i will ingest no startchy carbs for that day? (no rice, pasta oatmeal, etc)
Med: 130
High: 260

does there happen to be an order in which to cycle? I know it should match your exercise routine but (just to be certain) should i follow a low med high cycle or (example) low high low high med med etc?

thanks for taking the time to clear up my confusion. i want to come back in a month (November 1st) and let everyone know that i made significant progress. :wave:

Why do you need more protein on high days?

Why do you need more protein on high days?

Protein remains constant on all three days. Fat might vary a bit. You might have to eat less on high days and more on low days.

On low days, some people eat no starchy carbs at all. Some might include a little bit.

I plunked some figures into my spreadsheet for you.

If you go with 160 gr. of protein (BW x 1.25), 260, 130 and 50 gr. of starchy carbs on high, medium and low days respectively, you'll need to eat 43 gr. of fat on each day to average 1560 calories a day.

That's with two high, two medium and three low days.

If you want to go with 0 gr. of starchy carbs on low days you'll have to bump up the fat to 65 gr. on low days.

It's no biggie. It takes about 30 seconds with my spreadsheet.
