How much cardio is okay during bulking? HIIT?

I do cardio during my bulking.
Both ss and intervals.

3 times a week.

My opinion?

No HIIT. A few 20-30 minutes low intensity SS sessions are fine.

I did 2-3 short, moderately intense interval sessions during my bulk.

To elaborate on my post, I think intervals, HIIT, etc runs too great a risk of compromising leg growth, when those resources could be devoted to another lower body workout.

No, due to the fact that when done properly it's just a very, very intense lower body workout. Just something extra you have to recover from.

Does muscles degrade or "break down" during HIIT just as if you were doing a resistance training workout for your legs? I know they are both mainly anaerobic exercises. They use the same fuel substrates. This said, I understand the need to cycle each properly. However, does HIIT also stimulate muscle degradation and then supercompensation cycles similarly to resistance training?
