Sorry guys if this is just a retarded post... feel free to delete it if you want... I'm just really determined today to make sure I get adequate food intake... this is my plan (1800-1900ish calories) and I'm sticking to it! This is a lot of food for me after keeping my intake so low for so long, but I am DETERMINED to EAT IT ALL... and continue at this level :D Wish me luck!
- 1c eggbeaters with spinach, mushrooms, EVOO and breakfast muesli pita
**20min HIIT**
- 1/2 a rice cake (its all I had left -- my sister has been snacking on them lol)
- a sweet potato with cinn and nutmeg, 1c steamed broccoli, 1 chicken breast with mustard
- an apple, 2 egg whites, 1 flax capsule
- 1/2c oatmeal w/1/4c cottage cheese and cinn
- steak (4oz), zuchinni grilled with mushrooms and onions, prolly butternut squash
- 3/4c cottage cheese with splenda and cinn, 1 flax cap.

I agree. Investing the time into meal prep is half the battle - the other half?... sticking with it. Good luck.

Thank you everyone!
I just ate the oatmeal... I'm attacking the apple and egg in about half an hour or so, even though I'm full I don't care I'm eating it anyways
I just tried on a pair of 2/3 size dress pants and they fit (little snug but they fit) I should be a 5/6 MINIMUM.
Lunch was great though, the sweet potato was the friggin size of my arm :D

lol its true -- I started at shape and I'm moving my way up
Alrighty here's todays plan -- let me know if this is spread out well:
9:45am 1c eggbeaters with spinach, mushrooms, EVOO and breakfast muesli pita
**20min HIIT, full body weights 3 sets, 120s rest**
12:30 1.5c brown rice, 1c steamed broccoli, 1 chicken breast with mustard
** dentist 2-3pm... then I prolly can't eat until 3:30/4 **
3:30ish 1/2c oatmeal w/cinn and splenda, 1-2 hardboiled egg whites, 1 flax capsule
btwn 6-7pm ...? (most likely grilled veggies, potatoes and some sort of lean protein)
9:30pm 3/4c cottage cheese with splenda and cinn, 1 flax capsule
Should I add in anything in there? An apple at 8ish? Something else in the afternoon?
3:30ish 1/2c oatmeal w/cinn and splenda
need some protein here.
rachel.
05-08-2006, 06:19 PM

rachel.
05-08-2006, 08:09 PM

lol! Isnt that too much protein? Wait let me check the fitday
rachel.
05-08-2006, 08:43 PM
Total: 1618
Fat: 42 g
Carbs: 183 g
Fiber: 27 g
Protein: 133 g
Thats including dinner: .5c boiled potatoes, grilled zuchinni and pork chops (2oz -- because I dont like them very much)
Edit Maybe I should up the carbs? Where? With what? :p You must all hate me by now with my gazillion questions.
defintly not a lot of protein. 133grams? And you weight what 120?
I suggest 1g/lb bodyweight at least. up to 1.5g.
maybe add an apple at breakfast, a little more potatoes at dinner, 1/2c. isnt that much.
you could even add a little more protein at dinner.. 2oz. isnt alot. instead of pork why not something you like? ask your mom to fix something for you.

I weight anywhere between 116-118lbs
Ok added an apple in there too :)
And my mom wont cater to my food choices too much -- the most shes done is stopped putting butter into the veggies and potatoes until I've taken my share... which is a huge step for her

my dad's been pretty good - my mom, not so much. shes so frigging annoying in the morning when she comes downstairs and says my oats w/ egg whites smell bad (she has an overactive nose anyways) and she asks me if all my tupperware is eaten in one day (YES). the questions are so repeititive. and I started complaining about having too much pasta and she'll be like I dont know if its the carbs, the calories, what you're so concerned about...!! I got them to switch to WHOLE WHEAT PASTA finally!!! my dad does much better - he goes to the grocery store more often and buys me fat free cottage cheese, sweet potatoes, tuna, salad stuff :-)
and we've been doing the brown rice thing for a while too! and well, i grew up on bran cereal instead of those sugary cereals.
and like your mom rachel, my mom still puts butter on the veggies - bleh! davids (my boyfriend) mom is worse tho, she puts sugar on the strawberries!!!!! i always grab some while shes cutting them up b/c i know if i get them once shes puts them into the container that they are sugar laden.......and to think, shes prime canadidate for diabetes and her hubby has already been diagnosed with diabetes a month ago. bleh

omg my mom complains about the smell too! usually its the steamed brocolli i have for lunch lol
but shes being a lot more forgiving than i expected her to be. i think its because shes afraid i wont eat at all if she puts her foot down.
yeah we have brown rice now, and we dont usually eat pasta because my parents are sick of it lol. Instead we have a lot of meats in tons of sauces and stuff. I've actually become so accustom to plain foods that things like teriyaki sauce taste like salty crap to me
not that ive eaten salty crap lol
