I have no idea how to do it on my own. Please help!! :)
Ahhhh...I was the exfoliation queen yesterday. :p
I use exfoliation gloves and a good body scrub, that's probably the easiest way. I also bought this gadget called a Spin Spa the other day. Basically it's a battery operated long handled bath brush with different attachments. It does all of the work, you just move it around. It's very good for the back and hard to reach places. For my footsies, I prefer a good old pumice stone and plenty of elbow grease. IMO nothing works better on feet.
For my face, I have one of those facial microdermabrasion tools and cream. It's specifically for the face and the cream is milder than body scrubs. You can do it 2-3 times per week depending on your skin. I usually only do it 1-2 times b/c I have oily skin and it tends to draw out the oil, but it definitely makes your skin look smoother and more glowing.
I am very smoooooooooth today. ;)

Lyn--You are the one who prompted me to ask. I hardly ever do things for myself and decided that I wanna start. Thank you. :)

Girl, you need to set some time to do it for yourself. Start with doing it monthly and then increase it to weekly.
I exfoliate weekly, deep condition my hair, facial mask. It's called Bernee's spa day. Sit in the tub full of bubbles or bathsalt the whole nine yards. Make sure to keep the kids away. It's your time.
Target has some great exfoliating gloves and aveeno also has a new exfoliating body wash. I am the exfoliating queen. My skin is as smooth as a baby's butt right now because I exfoliated daily for my comp. Plus being hairless helps.

I know it has to be hard if two kids. Actually, your kids will appreciate having a happier mommy, after you are all calm, relaxed and glowing from you scrub.
I definitely agree with Bernee. Make the time for yourself. :) My next "treat" for myself is to start getting pedicures. I usually do mine myself, but I want to actually take the time to go to a salon and get the real deal for once. I think french pedicures are so cute.

I am not so great with getting the pedicures in the winter. No one sees my feet. But in the summer. Sandal season, pedicure time. Yeah!
Actually, I love getting massages. I would take a massage over facial, manicure, pedicure any day.

I do this too. Helps me feel so much better.
Also, if massages get to be too expensive see if you can find a massage school in your area. I have one that I use--$25 for an hour long Swedish massage.
I don't really care for massages. I would love to do the manicure, pedicure, facial package. There's actually a beauty school here that does those things really cheap. I go there for my eyebrow waxes....$3.50. Can't really beat that.

Massage school, I never thought about that. Crazy talk is right. Massages are the best.
I get me eyebrows threaded, waxing my eyebrows messes up my skin. When I go home to Toronto, I get my eyebrows threaded for $3 and they are the best threaders ever. Can't beat that, $3 in Cdn currency. :)

I schedule an about appt about every two months for ME. Microdermabrasion, facial, mani & pedi - $200. I exfoliate weekly in the shower with a pair of gloves from Bath & Body and a good scrub. You've got to be good to yourself! When mama's happy everybody's happy

The gloves are incredible. I use the gloves with whatever exfoliating scrub I find at the drug store once a week. It works great.

I am currently going to school for esthetics and we take clients at our school. Call you local Cosmetology school, see if they have an esthetics program and schedule to go in there and have it done. It feels incredible!!!!!!!! Our school only charges $50.00, cant beat that!!
