I'm four days away from getting my period, but I took a digital HPT this morning and got a positive.
I've been reading that digitals can sometimes give false positives...but before I go off to get another test I just wanted to ask around and see if this has been anyone's experience.
Thanks.

You may be able to read the test strip itself without the digital reader. They work the same way, the digital reader just interprets the lines and tells you in nice, clear wording.
I got an error reading with the first test I took, a digital one... I pulled the test strip out and there were two lines, just like a non-digital test positive result.
I was going to call the 800 #, but instead I just assumed I was pg but also took three regular non-digital tests the next day to confirm, which were also positive.

Thanks. Took a regular test this morning and got another positive...so I guess I can trust the results now.

Thank you! Yes, it's a very happy occasion. It was our first month TTC so it's definitely a welcome surprise. We're over the moon :)
