Well, I'm trying to look at this positively.
I'm in the 4th week of the FB workout, with 2 HIIT's and 1 SS. Diet is "ok" but needs work, although I'm not blowing it too often (once a week maybe). I like that I'm not in the gym for endless hours like I was when I was doing splits and 5 days of cardio.
I've increased weight each week and did the reps/sets just as listed. I didn't weigh myself for the first 3 weeks until today. I have gained almost 4 pounds! I'm not retaining water so I don't think it's that. HOWEVER, I know I've lost some inches (haven't been measuring) since my clothes are looser in places. But in the last three years of my 70 lb weight loss, I've not gained back more than 1-2 pounds at at time. So this is really hard for me to swallow.
Now, I've read the "you can't lose weight and build muscle" information although some say it is possible. I've read the stickies on nutrition and training, but maybe I need to go back. I know I have to buckle down and be regimented with my diet now that I'm down to my last 15 pounds (well, was 15, now 20, lol).
Well, I'll stop the rambling but thought some of you may have some other input, wisdom or suggestion on which sticky/post I should re-read.
Thanks!
