Question about dietary fiber

I apologize if this has been covered before. I didn't see it in the stickies. When counting carbohydrates, do you subtract the amount of dietary fiber from the amount of carbohydrates and count that as your net carbs? So if I had 100 carbs and 25 grams dietary fiber, I'd have 75 net carbs. Thank you! Elisabeth
