This weekend I ate pretty poorly and did not drink much water. Today I feel very bloated and my pants are tight. If I get a gallon of water in each day, how long will it take to get rid of the water weight?

A couple days. I am going through the same crap right now and am not going to weigh myself until Wednesday.

Depends....after my wedding shower it took a week.
it sucked.
Water weight/bloat = reason I hate my body so often. Mine is due to that TOTM & lasts upwards of 2-2 1/2 weeks!!! I'm talking MAJOR bloating...like, I seriously look pregant some days!

This is EXACTLY how I am feeling today. Glad I'm not the only one. Other than waiting it out and chugging water, is there anything else you can do to make it go away?

I am convinced that working out helps. If not physically then mentally.

epsom salt baths are supposed to help. they make my veins look HUGE. note to self: take progress pics after a salt bath.
I don't know how long the effect lasts though.

i made a mistake. planned trip to san antonio and we leave saturday. scheduled to be in my worst bloat phase of TOM during this weekend and w/ 90+ degree weather, there's going to be tight tanks and swimming. i'm so scared right now because my clothes won't be fitting. just stocked up on PMS tea, natural water pills, and will avoid salt like the devil.

I'm not familiar with that - is it a diuretic?

Do you think it's better than Aquaban? I have some of that but haven't used it yet.

I dropped 6.2 lbs of water weight since yesterday after consuming almost zero carbs.

You still doing UD2.0? I found a 4-8 lb fluctuation after beginning the depletion to be about the norm.

I made the mistake of weighing myself this morning and I think that was what set my bad day off to an even worse start. :p

No, I've been eating at maintenance (+) for three weeks. I just started another short run of PSMF. I lost 6.2 lbs on just the FIRST day! I was expecting a big drop, but not one THAT big. I was more bloated than I realized.
