I seem to remember a recipe that was posted on O2 awhile back and was something like peanut butter, protein powder and some other stuff :o Anyhow, something like that sounded really good to me last night (on my low day) but I could not find the recipe for the life of me! Does anyone have it????

Was this it?
Peanut Butter Balls
Ingredients
1/2 cup all natural creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1 1/2 scoop vanilla protein
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Roll by hand into 1" balls and chill until firm (about an hour). They make great high protein snacks and are an excellent source of healthy fats. Makes 4 servings.

hot damn these are good. It's hard to not eat all of them. I am thinking of trying the splenda ones instead of honey, add some oats for bulk and make them smaller- then take them to the movies!

My kids LOVE peanut butter balls. I'll have to make the healthier version next time! Then I can have some too! :)

I doubled the recipe last night- used chocolate whey instead and made them into little bite sized marble bites. It made about 70- I am thinking these are now perfect to take to the movies! They look like those "Popables" that all the candy companies make.

You could maybe sub SF syrup for the honey?!

tried this- it is still good, but tastes TOTALLY different and the texture is different after being in the freezer- they are really chewy. I also had to use one more scoop of whey to make it not so goopy. It was so runny it wouldn't have formed into balls without the 4th scoop.
I personally like the honey ones better.
Also, a melon baller tool is a godsend when forming these. I saved about 20 minutes!

CRAP. I stupidly figured out the macros on these.
The way I made it, doubling the recipe, using 1c natty pb, 1/2 cup honey and 3 scoops vanilla myopro whey, it makes about 54 little balls and
each (shooter-marble sized) ball has....
78cals
6g fat (less than 1 saturated fat)
3.5g sugar
8g protein
hmmm, is it bad that my husband and I ate all 54 of them yesterday????
I guess we will have to reduce our portions, lest we turn into little butterballs.... or should I say peanutbutterballs...

I made these and the macros I came with are for 1 serving (there were 4 servings per batch right?)
1 serving cals 305.25
fat 16.5
carbs 25
pro 18.25
maybe I figured wrong, it seems like alot of calories

pb and honey are both pretty caloric, so I think your totals are right- how big are you making them? (I was going to type how big are your balls, but that might come across wrong! )

hiya-that was one of the main reasons I wanted them small, bc they are so good, I want another one soon! Since I figured out the totals, I have been having one at most meals, sometimes two or three depending on what else I am eating.
Oh and to quote a reply, rather than use the add reply button, use the "quote" button at the top right of the post you want to quote.
Have a nice day! :train:
