So...just curious....if ya'll were given, for whatever reason...promo I guess, a bottle of free supps...like a fat burner or creatine or whatever....would you use it? I myself rarely buy supplements like that...but I'd use 'em occasionally if someone gave them to me.

I would take them and try them.

I would depend on what the supplement was, but if it wasn't harmul I'd probably take some.

I voted yes, but only if it were something like creatine. I think many (most) sports supps are a waste of money and a scam. But protein powder or creatine? Heck yeah... hook me up! :D

I do too...let's assume it's something useful, like creatine or at the very least a fat burner (which I only consider a mild appetite supressant and energy boost...not an actual "fat burner" lol )

Then, yep. Free is good.

If it is in line with my goals, sure.

I'd use protein powder for free.

I don't use anything else.

Yes, I'd use them, I'm like a guinea pig for supplements, I used to receive alot of free stuff and have tried everything it seems like once. What's FREE IS FOR ME :)--JUST KIDDING. I actually find that I give most of these things away, I'm so tired of supplements :).

Wow Leah--you're very HAWT & sexy in your new avi ;)

Same - if it was anything else, like a fat burner, then what good would a sample size, be, anyways? You likely wouldn't notice a massive difference until you had finished the sample, and then been on more for awhile.

depends what it is, I would accept but if I used depends :p

I would...especially PP..one of my pet peeves is that companies do not make smaller "sample" pkgs of PP for consumers to test before spending big bucks for a PP they don't end up liking and eventually toss.

It would depend on what it is. I dont use fat burners.. Creatine yes, protein powders, etc yes. other stuff, no.

Needed another category.. depends :)

Creatine, possibly. I'm kind of interested in it anyway.

Fat burners, probably not. I'm neurotic enough as it is and don't react well to most stimulants.

I have a dozen or so thermogenics that came with my protein powder a week or so ago. I haven't thrown them out, but don't plan to use them either. If I run across someone that will use them or my DH uses them then I'll give them out.

I would use free protein powder, creatine, bcaa's, multi's, or joint supplements.

I would try, something to add to a protein shake like maltodextrin(is that how you spell it) or creatine. I would try. Maybe a fat burner, I'd have to research more about that tho.

If the supplement was a protein powder then yes.
Anything else, I don't use.

I voted No, but then, I wasn't considering stuff like protein powder or creatine.

There's a forum I visit infrquently (ironmass.com), and they have sponsored supplement tester journals there, where people get free crap, errr....I mean "supplements" , to test on themselves. It's amazing what people will take, just because it's FREE--some of them aren't even bothering to check ingredients. I had one friend signed up to take this supp that has ingredients known to screw with thyroid, of which she's been having problems.

Some of these testers are even testing more than one supplement at a time. Yeah, smart, baby!

I'd be one of the stupid self-testers
I mean, worst case, if they give me straight-up rat poison, it'll be found in my toxicology report, and the manufacturer will be stuck paying off my mortgage

Sometimes if you call a supplement company and ask for a free sample, they will send you one. :)

I voted no. I don't use supplements except protein powder.

That's what I'd be afraid of, so...no, I wouldn't use anything free except protein powder.

I get people trying to send me free supps all the time. I usually just keep them for a later use.

I'd use it, depending on what it was. I had someone give me a bottle of l-arginine tablets, so I experimented with it to see if I noticed any difference. I'd been slamming it based on studies I'd seen, but figured I could add a little personal experience to it too.

I usually get alot of free stuff from Vitamin Shoppe from Management, but all I ever try is Protein. I have a kitchen draw full of free stuff I should clean it out

I'd use it, as long as it was relatively safe and could potentially help me reach my goals.

I don't think I've ever hesistated to put any substance someone offered me into my body. Consequently, I have a lot of experimental results on... err... "supplementation" of all varieties.

As far as creatine, PP, etc.... yeah, I love trying that stuff out. Most of the fatburners and stuff that I've ever been given as samples were crap, but at least I know not to buy them and not to encourage other people to buy them.

I'm training with someone now and she is totally against using supplements, but there are some days that I need more energy so I take a fat burner. So if I were given supplements for free I would use them occasionally.

I would as long as they were not fat burners (only because I can't)

If was something that fits on my needs I would. Or I would keep it and give to somebody that uses.

I have give to others in the past supplements that I wasn't going to use at the moment.
