Just ranting here. My back has gotten wider I assume from lifting heavier weights, so I needed to go find a bigger bra. I usually take a 34A which is now too tight, so I try a 36A which is too big. So I'm in between sizes. Any suggestions.

Get a bra extender for your 34a bras. It will give you that little extra bump.

or go to VS, NM, or some place that has fitters, and get them to fit you to a size. it's a free service.

I've been there. I was told I was a 40DD. I laughed so hard. I don't even fill a b cup. Unless you are going to a high end bra store (which is wonderful), I wouldn't bother with the mall stores. Those women couldn't measure you even if they tried.

which one was that off? any woman should be able to look at you and tell the difference between a B and a DD. thats just retardedness, its rampant in this world.

She strictly went by the measurement of my back and added the DD. I looked at her like :wth: and said, are you sure? She said yes. I measured your back and added so many inches to get to the cup size. I had to leave. I don't remember the store, but it was strange.

Thanks, I'll be looking for a bra extender.

:funny: I was measured one time by those VS girls and they told me I was a 36C!!! I barely fill out my 36 A! So of course just to be a bitch, I tried on the 36 C for her and when she saw the air filled bra she was like "oh, i guess it is too big". What an idiot.

I also went to "Vicky's" and got measured. The first time they were right on. Then, a couple years later after lifting, my boobs are much smaller and none of my bras fit right, so I went in again. One gal measured me and told me I needed a size that was both a bigger band and cup size than what I was currently wearing! And the one that I was wearing was too big. Another gal measured and came up with the same size that I was wearing. I think part of the problem is that they measure you with a bra on. So if I'm wearing a bra that I don't fill out, of course they aren't going to measure right. I have found that certain styles fit differently and don't leave such a "gap". But, I've also started wearing my sports bras under my clothes a lot more than I used to . . .

Go to Nordstrom's and get fitted (or another high-end department store). You'll get an ol' granny that peers over he reading glasses to measure you, but she'll have a name tag on that says 25 yrs. of service :)! I was just re-measured yesterday, and since I had my BA in the middle of June, I have shrunk from a 34DD to a 32DD. Do you know how hard it is to find a bra in that size?!

it's a PITA, but try, try try...every brand is slightly different...you'll know when you find the ONE, then just buy as many different colors as you can in the same style and size. Not sure how the stores are where you are, but if you can go to a dept store, buy a bunch of different styles/sizes and try them on at home...much less stressful than trying to do it in the store, then just return whatever you don't like
