I have an avatar on photobucket that I want to put up but it won't take it. What am I doing wrong? I followed the instructions and copied the url into the rights spot. It says it is doing it and then there is no pic. Of course, I am computer retarded so it very well could be me. Donna

Is the picture size correct?

I edited it on the photobucket to size it down, but maybe it is not working. I bet that is the problem. Is there another way I can do it?

Size limit is 100x100.
You could just save it and then upload it. Or maybe see if you can PM it to Leah
Try uploading instead of linking to it

I am really computer retarded. What is the difference in uploading and linking it? If that does not work can I send it to you to upload? Thanks, Donna
in your avatar settings....there is a "browse" button....that's how you upload a pic from your hard drive.

Ok. Thanks. My husband saved everything to disc because we had to reformat our computer. I will have to ask him where it is and I will do that. Thanks. Donna

I am not computer literate either. I tried to upload from my pictures file and it says I can not load that type of file. It is a jpeg, I believe. Oh and sorry to hijack thread

are you resizing the picture in a pic editing program? It can't be done here on the board.
Sounds like that is your problem
