Recovery depends on a lot of factors and is individual to the person. A blanket statement like that is absurd.

This would apply to any age then.

Recovery is systemic and long-term, not session to session.

That would depend on how hard you are training each muscle group per day. If you're doing that kind of split.

And everyone is different. But in general, yes. If you're training one muscle group hard enough per week, it needs rest. Then again, how long have you been training. It takes time to get to that point. For many people a 3 day/week all over program is perfect. Other people train 5 days/week, and others 6days/week, with various muscle groups being trained. That's a loaded question LOL. Loaded statement I mean.
