jeans

i need new jeans, BADLY. id like some reccomendations if you have any. i have the usual big butt and legs. that usually isn't a problem. the problem i have is finding them long enough. im just under 5'11". im lucky to find them long enough to wear with flat shoes, but i can't find them long enough to wear with heels. my tallest heels make me about 6'3", so i imagine i need about a 35 in inseam.
the only things that i ask is that they aren't low enough for my thong to hang out and i don't want to have a muffin top.

Not sure where you are but Tall Girl in Canada sells extra long Parasucos. We're talking 37 inch inseam...NICE. :shades:

The Limited makes some nice jeans in a long that should fit you.

Joe's Jeans are awesome, but I would never pay full price. I'm 5'10 and fit into a regular length in these with no problem. If you look around places like Marshall's, you can usually get them heavily discounted. I just bought a pair for $50.

Silver Jeans are my favorite. They are sold by waist x length measurements like guys jeans.
www.buckle.com sells Silver and Lucky Brand jeans, and if you watch the clearances you can usually get a good deal.

Mail order - Gap, Banana Republic and JCrew all have extra long jeans. I am between 5'10" and 5' 11" so I feel your pain!!

i am 5 9 and i love Hudson jeans. They are pricey but worth it, IMO. they are almost TOO long!

Joe's Jeans, as Kristy said, or People's Liberation jeans might work. I just bought a pair of each--for $50 a piece--and I had to get them hemmed several inches. (I'm 5'8"). They'd be perfect for a tall, very long-legged gal.

I have a really good pair of jeans from Maurice's...I'm not a big fan of the store, but the jeans fit and are long (not sure of the exact length).

I would also look for Lucky Brand or Seven. They really are great, just expensive, but as said before if you watch for sales and clearances, you can stock up for really cheap.

I'm 5'10" so I know exactly what you mean when you talk about tall jeans. I really like Victoria Secret. The only problem is you can't try them on, but they have a really good return policy. Also, Gap recently started carrying long/lean line and their jeans are pretty long. I used to wear Silver and Lucky jeans, but have found that as my womanly figure has matured, my hips, butt, and legs don't seem to fit into them. Another disadvantage is that I live in Alaska and quantity is limited at stores.

Silvers are usually available in long and they have them at Maurices. Also if there is a Platos closet around you they have gently used and only designed jeans for like $20.00 compared to $80-100
