Not much. When I drink soda, I want soda. Diet stuff is for sissies.

sometimes but not often.

if you're asking is it ok? in moderation. be sure to meet your daily water intake. amd remember that it is made with a bunch of artificial sweetners, preservatives and the carbonation in not good for our bones in high consumption

Diet Coke for me, diet is the only thing I'll drink when it comes to pop.

Used to drink 4 - 6 cans daily. Almost two years ago I quit and have had one can in that two years. As much as I enjoyed drinking it, I thought it was kind of silly to be just drinking chemicals, because that's basically what diet pop is. Now I have lots of coffee and water.

I drink too much....usually 1-2 20 oz and 2-4 cans a day. That is in addition to my 5 L water, couple cups of coffee and numerous cups of herbal tea!!!

Back in 2004, I was this same way. I would drink anywhere from 4 to 8 cans of Coke a day... That's one of the reasons why I was a fat boy! Now that I've freed myself from pop and so now, I never drink the stuff. I won't run the risk. I'm afraid that if I start drinking pop again that old habits will come back... And so I'd rather do without!

I crave a soda about once a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I go through phases with it. Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper :yum: Even though it has aspartame, I gotta have it every once in a while.

Most times it's just the bubbly I crave. So I'll opt out of a soda for some sparkling water a lot of the time.

I guess the question is - what is TOO much?? Is it going to throw off your contest diet stuff or is it ok??

Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper :yum:Ohhh that stuff is so fine. As is Coke Zero.

For me it's a few times a week; I figure there are many 'worse' things I could have in my mouth than a diet soda :hehe:

The caffeine in diet soda gives me headaches, so I'm not hungry afterwards, but it's not worth it lol

Canada Dry makes seltzer waters in great flavors: raspberry, mandarin orange, lemon-lime, and cherry. Cherry tastes a bit like cough drops, but the other flavors are GREAT. I usually think of seltzer as a really crappy stand-in for diet soda, but these are actually good enough to make the switch easy. I drink way too much diet soda and whenever I cut it out of my diet, I find that my cravings for sugar and fatty things abate.

I've never seen these before but they sound GOOD. Where did you find them? I was just at Superstore the other day but they only had Canada Dry gingerale and raspberry gingerale.

I live in Brooklyn. I've only seen these at random cornerstores in New York, but I'm sure they carry them elsewhere. Also, I've only seen orange and lemon lime in 2L bottles- the cherry and raspberry I've only seen in 1L and 20 oz. size.

Schweppes makes lemon lime, too, so look for that! Also, some stores keep seltzers a bit separate from sodas, so maybe look for it off to the side- like with tonic water and other mixers. Just a thought- but let me know if you find them! I'm sure they're around. Raspberry is sooooo good. I'm chugging an orange 2L right now!

I gave up drinking water because I discovered it was full of horrible chemicals. Its disgusting, and full of dihydrogen monoxide

I occasionally drink the Diet Rite Raspberry or Diet Crush Grape flavor. It has Splenda in it instead of aspertame, I know still a chemical but it doesn't make my stomach upset.

I used to not care for soda... til SO and I discovered those Crush (sweetened with Splenda) multi-packs. Orange, grape, cream soda (the best IMO) and rootbeer all in one big 24 pack. They don't even really taste 'diet' to me.

I had a Diet Orange Crush today.

I've never seen those multi-packs though. I need to look for that.

I'm really enjoying the Sodaclub machine here. Making sparkling water out of regular (very good tasting) tap water is already a joy. Would you know that you can make your omelettes fluffier by adding sparkling water?

When I want a flavour, I mostly reach for low-carb cordial syrup. It still contains sugar, but only about half of the normal syrups. Used to drink the sugar-free ones but choice is very limited here and flavour is awful in comparison. Full-strength grapefruit syrup is also very nice to add to sparkling water in minute quantities.

I have only seen it in the Crush multi-packs-- as far as I can remember, Superstore (I think it's Loblaws in Ontario) is the only place that seems to carry them.
