The last three weeks I started adding Yoga (Bikram and Vinyasa) into my routine. I love the effects it has on my body both physically and mentally. What do you guys consider it? Would it be training, relaxing or actual working out?

PS I added this in to help with stress and did not think I was going to like it. I am still lifting weights.

I consider it yoga. :lol:

I consider Hata yoga nothing more than stretching, but think Bikram yoga (and some power/flow yoga) is pretty intense. I haven't been doing it lately, but used to just consider it a component of my training program and scheduled it in accordingly. Definately not on an off day if I only had one day off, but maybe on an off day if I had 2 days off.

I do it one two days that I do not go to the gym and I also have a seperate day that I do nothing. I call it total rest day (well I do average things, I just leave the day to do nothing)

I love the way Bickram make you forget about all the negativity in life for 90 minutes in the day.

Vinyasa is a challenge for me, but I love it!

I do yoga mostly for the stress relief, with a bit of strength and flexibility tossed in.

Your doing to think I am a wack, but I love your hair! The color is great!!!

I use yoga alot for stress. It keeps me happy and calm.

I do power yoga in the morning and my other workouts at night.

I practice Ashtanga a few times a week. I started just for fitness since it is very strenuous and I noticed the instructors are in awesome shape just from practicing but it does seem to infiltrate my more spiritual side which is great for stress relief and focus.
