I have avocado on my new plan and since being sick I have not been able to get to the store to get some,so I have it in my next meal. What could I sub this one time that would be close?
Would olives work or peanut butter?

Olives are pretty close to avocado in the macro breakdowns.

OK. That works too.
Donna, you can also put the avocados in a paper bag with an apple to quicken the ripening process. What I do is buy ones that are near ripe, and a ocuple others that will take longer, so by the time that the ripes ones are eaten, Ill still have some on hand and ready.

:ditto: I only go to Whole Foods once a week, but usuall select 1-2 avocados that are ripe/near ripe and can be eaten in the next 2 days and I buy the other ones a bit less ripe so that they have more time and are perfect by the time I eat them.
