Ok... I make these every morn, they make me very happy. I was wondering... if I made a few for a couple of days ahead of time how long would they last? Do cooked eggs go bad after two or three days? I have made them and froze them before, but they got very spongy when I defrosted them. Do you think I could just refrigerate them for a few days? I mean, breads and cakes have eggs in them and the last forever it seems??? They are just oats "soaked in cinnamon/stevia water" and eggs whites. So will they last up to 4 or 5 days?

I would rather them be made fresh daily too, but I am going away, and I already have a alot to cook and prepare for the day not to mention exercise too (takes time away from them), but my sis cutie-kiddos come first, so it will be hard to take too much time for myself. my cooking will just end up not happening, or I will look like a selfish auntie who only cooks and does things for herself. I don't want to turn into a boring auntie. I know I am thinking tooo much, but I have to plan it all out. It's not only me and my brain, it's my sis, mom, grandmother, bro-in-law, and kinda dad out to sabatoge my plans. All of them!!!! My grandmother will just watch me and say what are you doing, and judge me, soooooo annoying and my sis and mom tease me and say don't do exercises, or laugh when I am lifting, stay with us or joke and say, can I have some (of my little organized food). Then bro-in-law. Come on have ice cream with me, you used to be so much fun, your not the same anymore. They all say we want you the way you used to be... fun Appleali! Bla Bla Bla. Never ending. I think I am doing quite well with all this stresssssss! I cannot tell you how stressful it is!!! That is why I think SOOOOO much!
I have made them ahead of time and just warmed back up in the microwave or toast in broiler, frying pan or even the toaster depending on the size.
longest Ive kept in fridge is 3 days, and they were fine.

:yeahthat:
My cooking cycles tend to run every three or four days. So I make enough to last me that amount of time, then I don't have to worry about things going bad in the fridge.

I would cook it in the microwave that day. Takes less than 2 minutes, that way, no one can say your a selfish auntie that spends all day cooking for herself.

3 days, not bad! If I had a microwave... We got rid of our after hearing how bad they are for ya. But I would have used it if I had one...maybe. I will freeze and heat them up I guess, that's the best bet. Just won't be as yummy as fresh. It's also, all the packing of my food. I would have to bring dozens of eggs, and for them too. So it might be a tad much to bring just for a extended weekend. No close supermarkets by us. Plus we don't go up there to food shop. We usually bring all our stuff with us. I'm gona need my own cooler, a big one!
Does this ever get easier? I love the preparing and cooking part but, it does take some time.... On my way to cook my chicken for the week and freeze'm of course. yummm...
Where did you hear that a microwave is bad for you?

Mostly health food websites and magazines. And alternative health for cancer websites. I would just search out any & all health websites. I think they are banned in someparts of the world becuase of their studies. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think in Russia and Europe?
I make mine ahead of time alot. I actually like eating them cold right out of the fridge.

Ive been preached about this lol it supposedly radiates bad waves (whatever that means) into your food, especially if its in plastic containers. who knows, everything causes cancer right?

Exactly! All we can do is pray over our food and trust God.... But sometimes when I hear something is bad for me, I can't get it out of the back of my mind, then I feel convicted every time I use it or eat it or do it, whatever it may be. Kinda like I know cigarettes are bad for me so I feel :yucky: breathing in the second hand smoke, or even saccharin, I don't think I could pour a pink packet in my coffee knowing it is proven poison. I flinch everytime I use the sugar free davinci syrups, which aren't very often. But then again I'm weird, I like to buy organic...:uhuh: I guess we have to pick and choose our "vices".
