:grrr:
I can do lateral raises all day w/ 8 LB weights, but when I switch to increase to 10s my form suffers. I can do say 3 reps w/ 10s then I struggle. Should I do however many reps w/ the 10s and switch back to the 8s to complete all my reps or should I just suck it up and stay w/ the 8s until I feel strong enough to be able to complete a set amount of reps w/ the 10s? Any takers . . .

What I do is sub-sets. Determine how many reps total I want to accomplish for the set. Then if I can do only 3 reps at the new weight, I do the three. Wait about 30 seconds then whip out some more until I have them all done. Within a couple of weeks, I can do most of my set.
Hope this helps,
Diana

Huge help!! Thanks so much!!
you can also get weight buddies ( I think that's the name) add 1lb or 1.5 lbs to each side. Instead of going up 2lbs. This might also help.
