Jesus.

My DH, bless his heart, is not listening to me.

I'm not eating like a pig.
I'm not "dieting".
I'm merely eating a well rounded "maintenance" type diet in preparation for Erik's training.

DH catches me eating oatmeal this morning. Despite the fact that I had a serving of my pp shake (eww! Pee pee shake!) swirled into it, he starts yammering on about how I'm eating "too many carbs. . ." blah blah blah.

So, my question to you folks would be:

How do I scientifically explain to a lowcarb junkie the reason I'm eating my GADDAMN OATMEAL??? :suicide:

Jesus.

Is this only for Him, or can the rest of us reply?

Is his only for Him, or can the rest of us reply?

:funny: Sorry, that was funny! :funny:

But to the OP, I can't figure out how to change the mind of people stuck in their ways either. All you can do is ignore him for now and then SHOW him how well your way works with the results you'll get. He won't be able to argue with that.

"It shuts the fuck up, or it gets the hose again!" tends to work well in my house. :whipped:

You don't. He is not going to listen to you until he sees the finished product.

Tell him to mind his business and his manners. Is he your coach? I know he has his own clients and is busy with them, but he's not coaching you.

You have a reason for doing what you're doing.
You're a grown woman.
You're in good hands.
Your results will soon speak for themselves.

Sowwy, Amy!!

I tend to go with "watch and learn". It worked for me. :)
