I know that it may only be water weight you lose but does it help with fat loss too?

I do not believe it is going to help with fat loss. Yes water weight. Do I think it is good? YES, BUT for your skin. It does wonders for my skin. :) I usually just go in there cause 1) It makes me glow and 2) I love the heat :)

more for fat loss i think. He told me that you wrap a towel around your waist and do crunches in there and hit helps you get a six pack
but then again he is shredded so maybe it really works.

I love to relax in saunas but I'm pretty sure all you're going to lose in one is water weight.

Huh? This sounds no better than someone putting on one of those insulation suits and working out till they pass out on the floor.
I mean no offense, but that just doesn't sound right. If you are going to use the sauna for anything, use it as a time to relax.

On a second thought, I am not really surprised actually... It is pretty similar to what some so-called fitness/figure "gurus" recommend to their clients: do cardio in what is called a "death suit" (an insulation suit that makes you sweat like a pig) because you know, sweating a lot equals burning a lot of fat

Saunas are great for your skin, thats a given, do you think it may give you a fat loss benefit by improving your circulation?
I'm just speculating.
