My friend just emailed me this recipe. She's on weight watchers and wanted to know how many calories per serving.

2 sticks of butter margarine or whatever
2 jars of peanut butter – 18 oz size
Combine these two ingredients in a large bowl and microwave for two minutes. The idea is to thoroughly melt, not cook
Then add 1 bag / box of confectioners’ sugar – 32 oz size (I use a little less) to the melted butters.
Mix and flip and stir and shake all the ingredients together really really well.
In another bowl add two or three bags of milk chocolate chips. I like chocolate, so I add three bags, but two is fine.
Microwave the chips for two minutes. The idea is to melt and no cook.
Using a spatula, fold out the butters and sugar mixture into a oblong pan and smooth level.
Now that the microwave has gone off, take the chips and stir, stir, stir. They should be thoroughly melted.
Fold the chips on top of the butters and sugar. Smooth out and stick in frig to cool.
Eat, eat and eat …

No, it's not. Someone had brought them into her work and she asked for the recipe. Although I suppose if she just counted the points, and didn't eat anything else, it'd be ok.

Okay - that cannot be a WW recipe. 2 jars of PB? That has got to be a joke.

oops - too slow.

I think that recipe is from one of the Sweet Potato Queen books. Oddly, it doesn't even sound that good to me. WAAAY too much confectioner's sugar. It sounds like a big batch of cake icing.

Sounds like you better have a bottle of insulin nearby because that would induce diabetic shock or coma in anyone.

 Too funny! But true - why would anyone even want to do that to themselves?

Ok, I put it in Fitday. If I did the calculations right it's 11,773 calories for the pan. So if you had 24 squares... 500 calories a serving and 35 grams of fat. I don't know how to do points but I'm pretty sure she's over today

I love sugar but I don't think I could stomach that. Perhaps only if were determined to rot my teeth and have a heart attack.

You can eat ANYTHING on Weight Watchers... as long as you count it in your points.

This must be for those "Weight Watchers" who are watching their weight go up! Even too disgusting for me and I use to eat icing right from the can.

I'm one of those sickos that would probably love it. However, I have zero problems not making something like that. If it was in front of me, I'd eat it.

Put it over chex mix and it reminds me of that puppy chow stuff - which I once made a batch of, ate it with a friend in a hot tub. I was also over 30 pounds heavier at the time than I am now

At one point in time I think Weight Watchers was a good thing. You were given X number of proteins, fats, “breads”, fruits, etc…It was fairly balanced. The point system just seems like a joke to me. Eat all 22 points in cake and you’ll drop weight.

I vomitted in my mouth 3 times when I read this recipe. First time with the butter, second time with the confectioners sugar, and the third time when it told me to eat it :barf: :barf:

This is the nastiest looking thing I have ever seen. A close second is my uncles cake that he sued to make - pound of butter, pound of flour, pound of sugar, pound of chocolate. Oh, and like a dozen eggs or something.

Eww.
