Is there any kind of recommended time limit for someone to stay below maintenance to lose fat? Does it just depend on the person and how much they need to lose or should you go back to maintenance for a while and then diet again? Thanks for any advice!

It depends on the circumstances.

I'd say it'd be a great idea to take a week off dieting and go to maintenance every few months.

OK, thanks so much, so do you increase up slowly, like so many cals a week or do I just go back to 1860 cals a day from about 1500. I weigh 124. This advice is so much appreciated.
