Ok so I decided to finally stop being lazy and actually start counting calories (yuck  ) . . . I went to that www.fitday.com place and they gave me an estimated 2200 calories as my "goal" . . . I don't know my bodyfat %, just used my weight (guessed on that too because honestly haven't weighed myself in a long time, I feel about 10 pounds heavier than last year so I rounded up to 130--last year about this time I was 118 . . . I'm just wondering if 2200 doesn't seem excessive to anyone? I guess I could pull out my other books and see what calculations they have, but I'm just surprised by this . . . not sure I can eat that much, even if I drink it all in, I'll be bloated and will start to lift off the ground like a blimp . . . :(
Anyway, thoughts please . . .
You need to know what you weigh. Without that, no one can help.

 Oh, alright. If I must. I'll go find a scale tonight and post later . . . I was hoping someone could pull a magical number out of a hat for me
Sorry, love to help, but I need more information. :)

128 lbs Scale is a store-bought bathroom kind, so not as accurate as the ones with the slider thingies (love my terminology?)... but I was pretty close in my guess. :)
What's your goal? 2200 is a bit excessive for dieting if that's your goal

I have so many goals I had to stop and think about that one. I guess my biggest goal diet-wise is to eat my way to great abs. I don't really care how much the scale says I weigh/about losing pounds.
Time-wise, I have a short-term goal of 12 + weeks of serious dieting. Then will break back to "just healthy" eating for a month (like what I eat now, pretty healthy but nothing really precise or measured). Then by that time will be back into kickboxing again (still weight training but one of my goals is to get back into the kickboxing/muy thai gym by September/October) and do about 3 months' dieting again. Break for Christmas back to healthy eating, etc. . . .

Depending on activity, you might maintain at 2200...but I don't see how you'd use that as dieting cals

I was really just curious about that fitday's estimate because it seems so excessive to me... I haven't been able to do the ISSA calculation because I don't know my lean fat multiplier . . . I could do the caliper thing at the gym and even if it's not really accurate, it might still help me do a better esimate on my lean fat multiplier . . . Somewhere in storage I have another bodysculptor diet plan that cycles calories, but doesn't personalize the plan that much . . .

This is what I did...took all day...but I'm sure glad I did it:
I took everything out of my cuboards that I eat and personally logged it all into fitday.
everything like oats, pb, pp, eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, etc
I didn't do that with fruit or veggies, but just about everything else I did!
it was a pain, but worth it
