I just wanted to get opinions on this. I am going to be having hip surgery in a few weeks and I was wondering if it is better for me to eat above maintenance for a while---to insure my body is getting what it needs to heal. Or do you think maintenance would suffice? Of course I don't want to gain a lot of BF, but I do want my body to heal as quickly as possible. I don't think I'll have a problem overeating a ton, but my main issue is I want to make sure I get enough in. Thanks. :)

your body is recovering, keep those calories at maintenance for sure!
