I can't imagine doing anything for 60 reps.
He looks retarded :lol3: I dont think I could get just the bar up for 25 reps.

:lol3: Wow, that guys takes "don't completely lock out" FAR too seriously.
I wonder what happens to him when he actually tries to push through the stick point?

If we can dismiss high squats, even in training, or bounced benches or hitched/ramped pulls, we can dismiss stuff like this.
If that would have been some kid benching 135x39 reps like that, he would get torn apart.

Wow, that's my coach, Justin Harris! :) Or I should say, OLD coach...since I don't compete anymore!
He looks pretty good, though. :uhuh:
And...there his muscles are under tension the whole time. Don't people do partial reps on purpose sometimes?
I once did squats with on oly bar on my back for 100. :p :funny:

LOL i just sent imadshoney a PM with the answer since i didn't want to clog this thread up, but since you asked too, it's because my job is too demanding, the travel, the time away from home and the gym, the meetings, dinners, conventions, it's just too much and i don't want to continue having nervous breakdowns and end up institutionalized! and like i told her, my job pays my bills, competing does not. So that's the only way i have to look at it i guess! :)

Ahhh...I see. I totally understand. Competing takes a lot of physical and mental energy!!
I guess I don't get it... I mean, pushing 315 like that definitely takes some effort, but why is he only pushing it up like 6 inches? Is he training for more power on his cock stroke?

a lot of guys doing high reps on bench etc cut the top end short, mainly because to get hte most reps you have ot move as quickly as possible, and locking out with speed hurts the elbows.

Back off/pump sets obviously?
