I've been on the Thunder Torture Toning and Training Plan for a month now. I was too afraid of having a cheat meal for the first 2 weeks but I picked 2 natty pb and strawberry preserves rice cakes as my 3rd week cheat. Forget about measuring the pb, I could have used a ruler to measure how thick it was.... They didn't taste nearly as good as the 5 to 10 I use to devour in the past. This week I thought long and hard about a cheat meal that wouldn't be a waste, unfortunately (or fortunately) the "Plan" has been so ingrained that it felt like a cheat but it wasn't a binge.
I got a take-out dinner so I could weigh it.... Chicken Breast, measured to the correct ounce, artichoke hearts and asparagus, lettuce and red onion. The extra tasty part comes in with the olive oil used to sautee the veggies and the 1 tablespoon of garlic house dressing I put on the salad. I added a small roll for good measure which was perfect for "collecting" the olive oil and salad dressing left on the plate. Soooooooo much better than the pb-jelly rice cakes!
I know this doesn't come close to the cheats I've read about in other posts but it's the best I could do and it sure tasted good. Now, I'm deciding what I want for this week's cheat .... A cheat meal not followed by a binge is a totally new experience for me, the expression "feast or famine" kind of describes my previous eating habits but not anymore.
