I just discovered turkey bacon/chicken bacon. It is sooo yummy and is alot better for you than pork bacon. Anyone else use this? How do you cook it to make it crispy? Mine is always kinda slimy/gritty.

I microwave it...for a lot longer than the package says.

Ditto. I find that it helps when you sandwich the bacon between two pieces of paper towel. This way the moisture is absorbed. Thus, crispy bacon.

Hmm...Ok. I always just use the package directions, so maybe like 2 or 3 minutes more than suggested?? I cant stand the slimyness...I like me bacon crispy..lol

I used to eat it and, yes, it was always limp.

Yep, a few extra minutes. Trial and error. It all depends on the power of your microwave.

I don't have anything to add about the bacon, but ... are you serious that no one but your dog will smooch you, Jillian? You're smoking hot.
Just in case you didn't know.
That is all.

I love turkey bacon. I usually only use it on jalapeno poppers, so I bake it while it's wrapped around the pepper. I don't care for it all fried up.

I love turkey bacon, but I only like the Oscar Meyers brand, the Jennie O brands tastes like smoked cardboard. I put it in my toaster oven and I like it crispy.
