depends on the day. some days I don't eat anything "clean". I just count my cals and get my protein.

I eat 'clean' most of the time. I just feel better overall when I get healthy food. When I eat crap, I never feel good.

But yes, I feel like crap when I ate really bad and then wished I hadn't...so I tend to eat clean most of the time.

My pwo carb is generally non-clean so that would be roughly 20% of my meals on training days which is 11% of my weekly meals. That is not to be confused with being 'off plan' as that is my plan.

i agree--since i eat whatever carby, lowfat snack PWO (bagel, cliff bar, animal crackers, cereal, etc), i try to keep everything else clean. Usually have 1 cheat meal a week which helps too.

honestly I used to eat so much more clean than I do now. I have eased up a lot on my choices....and my energy is still high, my workouts are good, and I really can't tell that my body composition has changed that much? I eat things that are not considered clean every day.... sometimes several times. For me it's just more realistic to stick to basically healthy options for 75-90% of the time and have some free space to play: go out with friends to dinner, enjoy foods that I used to limit, and not to feel so bound to rigid rules, etc. That doesn't mean I go eating pizza or taco bell for the 'unclean' foods...I'm sure if I ate stuff like that everyday I'd feel like crap..but moderation has proven to be best for my MIND and my body. ;)

Try to eat clean 4 days in a row.
