Is this maintenance guideline for the general public, or for those who train regularly a few times a week? For ex., if someone only did one day of weight training and a couple of cardio sessions each week, would 15xbw apply to them?

That figure is for people who are active.

So what is the figure for people who are not? And, what is considered active?

In my case, maintenance is around 17.5 x BW. I lose at 14-15 x BW.

Haha, I deleted my response, because I didn't like it.

But since you quoted part of it, everyone is going to hate me now. :lol3:

So everyone can hate me even more, I wish to state that I'll be starting a bulk next week and eating at BW x 19.5. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v614/montagnu/general%20smilies/bowing.gif

Largely based on activity level...mine used to be way higher. But now I'm as much of a bum as possible, so I don't have to eat as much, even with more muscle.
