Has anyone ever ordered anything from them? I ordered some PP from them a few days ago, and only AFTER I was charged, was I told the items I had ordered were out of stock. I'm just curious how legitimate of a business they are.

So...has anyone bought anything from them?

Unfortunately, I am having the same issue. I ordered some PVL PP at the end of August and I was charged, then told it was on back order. I then asked fora date of when it would be in and they said they did not know. I then asked for a refund and I have STILL not heard back. I called the toll-free number this week and left a message. Hopefully they will respond soon.

Used to be a good site. In the last 6 months or so, they have become very flaky. Really long ship times (weeks), bad customer service response time (or none at all), and no inventory control. I stopped using them all together, which sucks b/c they had good prices.

Great. I had a feeling something might be up with them. I just spent $72 (which came out of my account IMMEDIATELY). I guess I get to raise some cane until I either get the product or get my $$.

So yeah, I just called about 10 times, and the first 9 times I just got hung up on, but then the 10th time I was able to leave a message. So hopefully they'll call be back (I thinking that's probably pretty doubtful), otherwise I may need to dispute this with my bank. :shrug:

I think they have somewhere on the website where you can email a question/comment too. Wouldn't hurt.

Well surprise, surprise...I got through to someone. He told me that PVL PP was supposed to come in stock in 1-2 weeks, but I went ahead and canceled the order and got the *promise* of a refund. I then made sure to get his name and a cancelation confirmation #. So...we'll see if I get my refund, but I've dealt with difficult companies before and have always eventually gotten my $$.

I almost bought from bb.com initially, but found the PP on A1 for $4 cheaper. I guess I should've listened to my gut (which is shrinking by the way :D).

I went through the exact same thing with the same product. I did receive a refund within 2 days. I was surprised by this. I also ordered from them since it was $4 less. Right after canceling my order with A-1, I ordered from BB.com. This was a Monday. I received my BB order on Friday. I will always order from BB.com! I guess you get what you pay for. Although, looking at the whole situation, $4 more is really not out of line. Don't buy from Amazon, though. I saw PVL PP there for $40! Wow!

I just wanted to let you all know that I got my refund from A1. I'm actually pretty surprised they were so prompt, but I'm certainly NOT complaining. Now I can order from somewhere else! Woohoo!! :banana:

Yep. I've never had a problem with them. I usually get my shipment in 3-5 days. Usually stuff is a buck or two more expensive, but I like the promptness they have. So I fork over the extra $.

Gracegirl- I'm glad to hear that you got your refund. My brother used to order from that company. I will be sure to inform him not to order from there anymore. Thanks ;)

This is the truth! I live in Pensacola, FL, and I can order early in the AM, and if it ships from the Florida warehouse, it will be at my door the following afternoon! I know there are some cheaper sites out there, but there's something to be said for that kind of turnaround. I've never had any issues with customer service either.
I did order from A1 once, and I don't remember any problems, but I won't be using them again until I hear some better reviews.

OK, I ordered from bb.com LATE last night (around midnight), and when I woke up this morning, I had an email that my order had ALREADY shipped!! Holy WOW that's fast! Go bb.com!!
