View Full Version : Why peanut butter and not peanuts??

So my husband has been asking me this and of course I do not know the answer...
Is there a reason that you should eat peanut butter and not peanuts as part of your plan? If your plan calls for 25g of peanut butter (don't I wish :dry: ) what amount of peanuts could/would you use?

i dont know for sure but i would assume that if you had to sub one for the other you would need to match up the cals and go by that :shrug:

i don't know if 25gr pbtr = 25gr peanuts as far as macros go...

Me personally- I would much rather have PB, but when Kevin is on the go it may be better for him.

I sub back and forth. SOmetimes i'd rather have the crunch and volume of whole nuts vs the 'butter'.

I exchange almonds/ pb for g amts too.
