What do you think about kettlebell training? I just learned about a 4 week kettlebell bootcamp here in town and I'm tempted, the price is right. I thought it might be a cool way to mix up training.

I've never used them.

I'm sure it could be quite a fun workout. Definitely something different.

Resistance is resistance.

Kettlebells make you use stabilizers you never knew you had plus the shape distributes the wieght different , youll love them...just be careful of the comming down and hitting your wrists...but they should teach you how not to

Kettleballs are fun. A different workout. I love mine. I would recommand them. Bodybuilding.com has a few articles about them that are very helpful. I like to do "swings" as part of a circuit routine between doing traditional weightlifting (ususally on chest days, when I lift at home). It really brings up the heart rate!!

I, too, am interested. I first saw these a couple weeks ago at a INBF/WNBF prep camp. The prep camp was held at the Worcester, MA Gold's gym (where Jay Cutler originally trained) and there was a kettleball class there. I was struck by the boulder-like shoulders on the class members. Seemed like a great total body workout. One move in particular intrigued me - Turkish Get Up.

I use them for sumo squats (hold a 65 lb kettlebell with both hands between the legs); squat&swing combo; single-leg RDLs; Bulgarian squats; lateral throws; lateral raises; front raises.
