What's worse than the camper is the trainer that sits on their ass on some bench - usually the only free one - or some other piece of equipment while the person they're training is working beside them.

Yesterday, there was a guy in one rack using his TRX system, and the other rack was occupied by a guy doing umpteen bicep curling sets. If looks could kill

So today the gym was crowded with a bunch of guys taking up all the equipment...next to me were two guys that spent ten minutes getting ready to do the bench press on the flat bench. Yes, they took ten minutes to get ready - wrapping their wrists first with the power lifting wrist straps, then with the gloves with wrist wraps built in. So there they were, wrists double wrapped, benching a whopping 135....yes, 135! In between sets, they were walking around the bench slapping their arms like they were power lifters going for a record. Now, I'm not a big advocate of moving as much weight as you possibly can, but maybe we should forgo the double wrap and work on improving overall strength. Just one example of the foolishness in a gym full of 18-19 year old's on a military base.
