Hello! My name's Monica! I'm 42, and live in southern New Jersey, USA. I made fitness a part of my life in 2007. I used the Body for Life book to guide me, and it was a good start, for a beginner. After many months, I did research on my own, and tried all different nutrition and workout plans. I have never competed, but did consider it, around 2008. Then, I had some very hard times, from 2009 to 2011, and fitness took a back burner while I tried to get my life back together. I am not where I want to be, however, I'm happy to find my strength rapidly coming back, and I'm getting back into running. I'm on the waiting list for Erik, and am trying some new workout plans and eating clean, in the meantime. I have, in my mind, the image of exactly what I want to look like, and how I want to feel. I know I'll get there! I do feel that I have confused myself completely by reading way too much info on nutrition and so much of it is conflicting...I really want guidance. I'm looking forward to sharing my journey, and learning from members, here.
